Your PDF and password
When you unlock a PDF, the file and password are handled in your browser using WebAssembly. They are not sent to Redsite or saved by this tool. When processing ends or you close the tab, the tool no longer has access to them. Keep the unlocked copy somewhere safe.
Information this site receives
The tool does not ask for an account, collect form submissions, or use advertising or analytics cookies. Like most websites, our hosting provider may process basic request and security data (such as IP address, browser details, and requested page) to deliver and protect the site.
Service providers
The page loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser requests those font files directly from Google, which may receive standard connection data. PDF processing itself uses code served with this site and runs locally in your browser.
